Wacom Tablet Error at Startup
Problem
When you start XSI, you get this error:
- There is a problem with your tablet driver. Please reboot your system. If the problem persists reinstall or update the driver."
XSI starts, but then you have problems with the tablet, like no pressure sensitivity when painting weight maps.
The problem occurs with 64-bit XSI running on 64-bit Windows (XP or Vista).
Solution
Courtesy of Wacom, here's the solution:
This is a very familiar message we’ve had with true 64bit applications on X64 systems. We just released the 6.08-4a driver (rc) that should fix this problem.
Please uninstall and reinstall with the latest driver from http://www.wacom.com/productsupport/download.cfm?id=186&product=Cintiq21UX
This driver is for all Pro tablets (legacy and current).
