Uninstalling xsi leaves directories behind
When I try to uninstall XSI by running setup from the command line, some files and directories get left behind.
Cause
A currently running process cannot delete itself. Rather than running setup.exe to uninstall, you should run the following command line (assuming you have installed in C:Softimage):
C:WINNTSystem32RunDll32.exe C:PROGRA~1COMMON~1INSTAL~1engine6INTEL3~1\ ctor.dll,LaunchSetup "C:SoftimageXSI_2.02Setupsetup.exe"
Applies To: XSI 1.0,XSI 1.5,XSI 2.0,XSI 2.0.1 on NT,Win2K
