Unable to delete a clip even though it is not in use
Article needs peer review
Symptom
There is a Clip listed in the Sources/Clips folder in the Explorer view which is not in use by any of the elements in your scene. It ought to be possible to delete unused Clips, but for some reason this Clip will not delete. It is not possible to delete this Clip from the Explorer view, nor using scripting.
Cause
The undeletable Clip is probably referencing the default No_Icon.pic file. It will not be possible to delete this Clip while its Source file is the default No_Icon.pic.
Solution
Change the Source that is referenced by the Clip so that it is pointing at anything other than the default No_Icon.pic and it will be possible to delete the Clip from the scene. If you have numerous undeletable Clips you can edit their Source image information simultaneously by multi-selecting these Clips and hitting 'enter'.
