Troubleshooting - Successfully saved Scene before system failure

Problem

When you try to open a scene or create a new scene, you get this message: 

Successfully saved scene before system failure. Restart the application to recover the scene.

Solution

runonce.bat usually fixes these kinds of problems.

  1. Open an XSI command prompt (click Start > All Programs > Softimage Products > SOFTIMAGE XSI 5.11 > Command Prompt).
  2. Run the command runonce.bat.
