Toggle the current tag selection

Symptom

I cannot Right-click to toggle the current tag selection, as I used to in 3.x.

Cause

With the SOFTIMAGE|XSI Interaction Model set as your preference, the default functionality is designed to facilitate the creation of clusters:

  • With the Selection filter in Point mode:
  • Click = Select (point)
  • Middle-click = Select Clusters



Solution

Enable the Extended Component Selection option found in the Main Command Area's Selection menu to retreive the following key mapping:

  • t+Click = Select
  • t+Middle-click = Deselect
  • t+RMB = Toggle
