Submitting a License Request for Essentials/Advanced


Note: You can leave the Customer ID and Registration Code fields empty.

  1. Go to the Customer Portal at http://www.softimage.com/customerPortal/Default.aspx
  2. Click License your product.
  3. Click Request licenses for all other products.
  4. The Company Name should be filled in automatically. If not, then enter your name (or the name of your company if the company purchased the upgrade)
  5. The Customer ID should be filled in automatically. If not, leave this box empty.
  6. In the Request Code box, paste your request code.

    A request code looks like this:

  7. If you remember when you purchased XSI, click in the Date of Purchase and then click the date.
  8. In the Quantity field, type "1" (unless you purchased multiple copies).
  9. In the Product list, click the product you purchased (for example, XSI Essentials All OS or XSI Essentials Windows).
  10. If you are not requesting a license for 6.5, select a different version.
  11. In the Duration list, click Permanent.
  12. Click Add to Product to Request.
  13. Click Submit.
