Submitting a License Request for Essentials/Advanced
Note: You can leave the Customer ID and Registration Code fields empty.
- Go to the Customer Portal at http://www.softimage.com/customerPortal/Default.aspx
- Click License your product.
- Click Request licenses for all other products.
- The Company Name should be filled in automatically. If not, then enter your name (or the name of your company if the company purchased the upgrade)
- The Customer ID should be filled in automatically. If not, leave this box empty.
In the Request Code box, paste your request code.
A request code looks like this:

- If you remember when you purchased XSI, click in the Date of Purchase and then click the date.
- In the Quantity field, type "1" (unless you purchased multiple copies).
- In the Product list, click the product you purchased (for example, XSI Essentials All OS or XSI Essentials Windows).
- If you are not requesting a license for 6.5, select a different version.
- In the Duration list, click Permanent.
- Click Add to Product to Request.
- Click Submit.
