SPM and network time
SPM is very time-sensitive. Before installing SPM, verify that the date and time is consistent on your network and configure your computers as time slaves of a time server. For information on how to set network time, refer to the Windows OS Help or the IRIX or Linux man pages.
If the system time does not match the timestamp stored in the dongle, you will be prompted to update the dongle’s timestamp:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

WARNING! This might terminate your license(s)
And/or expire the dongle if system time is wrong
No to stop the SPM service
Cancel to continue the SPM service after having corrected the system time.
Do you really want to irrevocably adjust time in dongle ?
If your system time is correct, answer Yes to update the dongle’s timestamp and continue with the licensing procedure.
DO NOT answer Yes if your system time is set to the future. If you answer Yes in such a case, your dongle will need to be reinitialized.
