Replace the network card with the ms loopback adapter
Article needs peer review
Summary
If you are unable to start XSI after installation, and you have confirmed that your license keys are correct, it may be necessary to disable your Network Card. This establishes that TCP/IP is not causing the problem, and that the problem is related to your Network Card. For example, your Network card may not be working properly or the driver/adapter was incorrectly installed.
