Question "Why am I not able to connect my RGB image to the Displacement parameter in the RenderTree?"

Answer Displacement in SOFTIMAGE|XSI only takes Scalar inputs ...and you have an RGB image. You need to convert your RGB image into Scalar values. </u HTMLFixup>
