Keyframing the shape of eyes interferes with the rest of the facial animation
Article needs peer review
Summary
Setting key shapes for facial animation works fine. When you make the eyes blink it overrides the other facial expressions.
Steps
- When secondary animation is applied it must be made local.
- Make a cluster around the eyes by selecting the points around the eyes click cluster.
- Set keys on the cluster and not the object.
More Information
If you want to avoid making clusters you may also choose to remove the normalize feature in mix > animation_mixer_properties.
