INFO: Getting Your Foundation License

To get your Foundation license

1. Go to http://www.softimage.com/getfoundation/Default.aspx.

   Just in case the above link does not work, here is how to get to the same page: Go to www.softimage.com, point to Support and then click Setup and Licensing. In the XSI Foundation Licensing box, click the link to the Foundation Registration Form.

2. Log on.

   If you do not have a Softimage Web account, click the Click Here link to go to the Create Account web form at http://www.softimage.com/login/create.aspx.

3. In the Foundation Registration Form:

   • In the Registration Code box, type the registration code for your copy of Foundation. You can find this code on the registration card that came with your copy of Foundation.
   • In the Platform, Version, and For your Usage lists, select the choices that correspond. For Version, 5.0 is good for all 5.x releases. Platform and For your Usage list help us understand who is using Foundation and how.
4. Click Validate.
5. You will receive an e-mail message containing your license key. Keep this e-mail message, you will need the license again when you download and install Foundation 5.11.

6. Enter your license key in Foundation.

   1. Start Foundation.
   2. In the dialog box, that says "This software is an evaluation version ...", click Enter Key.
   3. In the registration dialog box, enter your e-mail address and your license key. IMPORTANT The license key is case-sensitive.
   4. Click OK.
