How To: Install SPM

This "how to" article provides step-by-step instructions for installing the SPM License Server on 32-bit Windows.

Important

  • Do not plug in the dongle. If the dongle is plugged in, unplug it. The Setup program will prompt you to plug in the dongle.
  • To successfully install SPM, you must be an Administrator on the computer. If you are the only user of the computer, you are most likely an Administrator. To check, go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts and check that your user account is a member of the Administrators group.
