Globally keyed animation and the dotxsi format

Question

Is it possible to export global animation to the dotXSI format?

Answer

The dotXSI format does not support global animation. Any global animation will be lost if you export to the dotXSI format. The workaround is to convert the global animation to local animation by doing this:

  1. Choose File > Export > Export .xsi.
  2. In the Export Options dialog box, select the Plot option in the Animation Filtering group and specify the fcurve options you want.
