Fatal error the vbscript engine is not installed



Solution

All newer Windows machines have VBScript and JScript automatically installed. However in some cases the configuration of a machine can break resulting in unexpected scripting errors.

To repair this problem try re-installing the Microsoft Windows Script 5.6 (http://msdn.microsoft.com/scripting) package from Microsoft (or re-install your OS).
